Overview
Kedarnath, one of the sacred Char Dhams and 12 Jyotirlingas, is situated at an altitude of 3,584 metres near the Mandakini River, with the majestic Kedarnath Peak forming its backdrop. Believed to have been built by the Pandavas over 1,200 years ago, this ancient temple stands amidst the snow-clad Garhwal Himalayas. Open from April to November, Kedarnath attracts thousands of pilgrims and trekkers every year. Surrounded by alpine forests, blooming rhododendrons, and the beautiful Vasuki Tal, Kedarnath offers a perfect blend of spirituality, devotion, and Himalayan beauty.

Day-wise Itinerary
Meet the Trip Leader in Delhi. Reporting time 08:00 PM. Depart overnight for Guptkashi.
Drive through the scenic Himalayan route, passing Devprayag, Srinagar and Rudraprayag. Witness the confluence of the Bhagirathi & Alaknanda rivers at Devprayag and the Alaknanda & Mandakini rivers at Rudraprayag. Arrive and check in at Guptkashi; evening at leisure. Overnight stay in Guptkashi.
After breakfast, drive to Gaurikund and begin the 15 km trek to Kedarnath. Enjoy waterfalls and scenic Himalayan landscapes, with rest points along the trail. Reach Kedarnath; dinner and overnight stay near the temple. Trek distance: 15 km one way. Maximum altitude: 11,755 ft.
Wake early for Kedarnath Temple darshan — one of the 12 Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva. After darshan, trek back to Gaurikund and drive to Guptkashi. Dinner and overnight stay in Guptkashi.
Depart from Guptkashi after lunch/afternoon. Enjoy the scenic return drive and reach Delhi by night.
