Surrounded by snow-capped peaks, lush meadows, and dense pine-oak forests, it serves as the gateway to Tungnath, the world's highest Shiva temple, and the iconic Chandrashila Summit. Nearby Deoriatal Lake, close to Sari Village, further enhances the region's natural beauty. The Chopta–Tungnath–Chandrashila trek perfectly blends adventure, spirituality, and breathtaking Himalayan views of Trishul, Nanda Devi, and Chaukhamba, making it one of Uttarakhand's most rewarding mountain escapes.

Day-wise Itinerary
Assemble at Akshardham Metro Station, meet your Trip Captain and fellow travellers, and depart from Delhi for an overnight journey to Chopta. Enjoy scenic highway views and refreshment stops along the way.
Stop at Devprayag Sangam, where the Bhagirathi and Alaknanda rivers merge to form the holy Ganga. Breakfast near Rudraprayag, then continue towards Chopta through the scenic Garhwal Himalayas. Check in and relax, take a peaceful forest walk, enjoy an evening bonfire (subject to weather) and a home-style dinner. Overnight stay in Chopta.
Wake up early and begin the trek to Tungnath Mahadev Temple, continuing further to the Chandrashila Summit (weather permitting). Witness breathtaking panoramic views of the Himalayan ranges, then return to Chopta to relax and unwind. Overnight stay in Chopta.
Breakfast and check out, then drive to Sari Village and trek to the beautiful Deoriatal Lake, exploring the surroundings. Return to Sari Village and begin the return journey towards Delhi. Stop at Rishikesh for sightseeing, café hopping, temple visits and Ganga Ghats (subject to available time). Continue the overnight journey and reach Delhi early the following morning.
